Direct Annual Funding
Direct support is available to assist Focal Points to carry out activities that help to provide information and raise awareness about the GEF and improve stakeholder involvement and coordination in their countries. Up to $8,000/year is available in direct support to countries and Focal Points for four years. For more information about the procedures for accessing direct support and the types of activities for which support may be requested, please refer to the Toolkit to Access Finanial Resources Under the Country Support Programme (available in English / French / Spanish).
Funds are also available through the CSP for Focal Points for travel to two constituency meetings per year per constituency. In addition funds are also provided for participation of newly designated Focal Points in GEF familiarization seminars held at the GEF Secretariat.
